Chicken Wing Recipe and Barbecue Sauce



Ingredients for baked chicken wing recipe:

1 Package frozen chicken wings
1/2 Lemon
Olive Oil

For Sauce:
2 tsp Chili Powder
1 tsp Celery Salt
1 tbl Honey Mustard (Annie's Organic)
1/2 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1/2 cup Water
1/4 cup Honey


Preheat oven to 400

Grease pan with olive oil and drizzle 1 tbl lemon or 1/2 lemon, mix around to coat with all of the frozen wings and place in the oven. Bake for 40 mins.

Immediately start the sauce, pour all ingredients into a sauce pan, stirring with a whisk bring to a boil, let boil for a few minutes then reduce to low or simmer. Allow to simmer until ready to pour onto chicken wings, stir occasionally.

Check chicken wings after 40 mins and lightly coat with sauce (1/4 cup), place back into oven for 10 mins.

Next remove chicken wings and place into a frying pan with a tbl olive oil, cooking on medium heat, pour remaining sauce over wings and fry for approx. 10 mins until nice and crisp.
